Press Release: A Working Group on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe (LIBLEG)

EBLIDA decided to create the LIBLEG (Library Legislation and Policy in Europe) Working Group with the following aims: 

  • Investigating about current developments in library legislation and policy in Europe and identify most innovative aspects / features; 
  • Revising the Council of Europe-EBLIDA Guidelines for library legislation and policy in Europe; 
  • Drafting the Final report on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe.  

 

The Interim treport on Library Legislation and Policy in Europe, prepared in collaboration with the French Ministry of Culture, will be distributed in the 14th December week. 

 

Giuseppe Vitiello, Director EBLIDA, is in charge of the Working Group.
