EBLIDA is re-launching EGIL with renewed scope and aims 

Aims and scope 

The mission of the Expert Group on Information Law (EGIL) is to: 

  • Create awareness on legal issues (with related implicatons) that affect the provision and circulation of information when libraries and archives are concerned. 
  • Advise and assist the EBLIDA EC, national library associations and EBLIDA Members in addressing European institutions by making suggestions and drafting reports regarding laws and changes to laws or policies that would improve the legal position of libraries and archives 
  • Cooperate and work with other organizations and institutions for these purposes. 

 

Ms Ulrika Domellöff-Mattsson accepted to be the EGIL Chair.
