Press Release

The Hague, 15 June 2016

EBLIDA’s answer to European Commission Public Consultation on Publishers’ Role in the Copyright Value Chain and Freedom of Panorama exception.

EBLIDA has responded to the European Commission public consultation on the role of publishers in the copyright value chain and panorama exception.

We built our answers based on the experience and knowledge of our Expert Group on Information Law. We thank those dedicated librarians for their contribution.

Further to the invitation to answer the consultation circulated in the previous weeks, we would like to thank all of our members for your active contribution and we invite the late comers to submit your responses to the consultation which closes today Wednesday 15 June.

This consultation is another step in the direction of the upcoming copyright proposals to be launched by the Commission this Autumn.

Each answer counts!
