Membership fees

How much does it cost?

There are two basic categories of membership: Full and Associate.
The regulations concerning membership are contained in the EBLIDA constitution.

Full Members

According to the EBLIDA constitution, Full Members are:

  • (a) professional associations in Member States of the European Community engaged on a national representative level in pursuing the interests of library and information science service;
  • (b) other organisations in Member States of the European Community not belonging to category (a) whose members are in a majority drawn from Member States of the European Community which are deemed eligible for admission by a decision of the Council.

The different categories of full members depend on the Annual Non-Profit turnover (ANP) of the organisation.

Associate Members

According to the EBLIDA constitution, Associate Members are:

  • (c) similar organisations to those related under (a) and (b) above in European States which are not Members of the European Community;
  • (d) other organisations not belonging to categories (a), (b) or (c) which are deemed eligible by a decision of the Council.
