19 August 2009: The EC will hold an information hearing on the Google Book Settlement on September 7th. EBLIDA will participate and has requested input from members in order to prepare a statement.
22 June 2009: Registration now open for the 2nd LIBER-EBLIDA workshop on the digitization of library material in Europe. Places limited so register early!26 May 2009: EBLIDA and NAPLE agree on the Vienna Declaration concerning a Library Policy for Europe. The document is intended for use in lobbying the new European Parliament and members are asked to invite their candidates for feedback on how they would respond if elected.Short reports on the 17th EBLIDA Annual Council Meeting and conference "A Library Policy for Europe", 7th-9th May 2009 available in the May issue of EBLIDA News.
