ALAI Study Days 2010: the Duration of Copyright and Related Rights

The ALAI Vienna Study Days 2010 are dedicated to questions arising in the context with the duration of copyright and neighbouring rights. The problems related to this subject will be dealt within six working sessions dealing with core issues of the limitation in time of individual copyright and neighbouring rights.
Apart from historical perspectives, the international framework will be dealt with as well as the crucial question what is to be deemed the “proper term” of protection in regard to copyright and related rights against the background of globalisation in the digital area.
