Mobile Librarianship: 17th Serbian Library Association Annual Conference
|Date:||14 December 2020 to 15 December 2020|
The Serbian Library Association (SLA), with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia and the Public Library “Vuk Karadžić” in Kragujevac, announces a call for submission of papers, panel sessions topics, and participation in the 17th SLA Conference, which will be organized in Kragujevac, 14‒15 December 2020.
The topic of the Conference is Mobile librarianship: reaching remote users through mobile applications, services, and ideas.
This year we have planned to deal with the topic of "mobile librarianship", so the main topic of the Conference is "Mobile Librarianship: reaching remote users through mobile applications, services, and ideas".
The topic was chosen before the emergence of COVID-19 pandemic, now it seems that current situation in many libraries throughout the world is amplifying the necessity for mobile librarianship, at least as an outside-the-box way of thinking.
In case of an unfavorable health situation in Serbia and the region this autumn, the SLA will change the format of the Conference, which will be announced here as well.
At the moment we are planning the Conference according the information in Call for Papers.
