VI. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
Lodz, 21st September, 2020

International scientific conference "Reading culture of the young generation" is a series of meetings with established tradition, which combine theoretical reflections with the presentation of teachers and librarians' good practices. The first meeting was held under the title "Reading and storytelling in theory and practice" (2010), second one: "The child in the world of book and media" (2012). Since the third edition, which took place in 2014, the conference is held under the name "Reading culture of the young generation".

Since 2018 edition the conference is organized by Department of Information, Library and Book Science at University of Łódź, Library of the University of Łódź, Museum of the City of Łódź and Polish Librarians' Association. Łódź District. Cooperation between academic institutions, and those of a historical and educational profile inspires to combine theoretical discourse with the presentation of teachers, librarians, teachers and educators' good practices. Edition planned for 2020 will be held in a Faculty of Philology of the University of Lodz building.

During the conference simultaneous translation will be provided.
