9th UNESCO Conference Media and Information Literacy (MIL) 2019

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

The 2019 UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Feature Conference will be hosted by the county council Region Västra Götaland together with the Swedish National Commission for UNESCO.

Gothenburg is hosting the largest book fair in Scandinavia where 90 000 librarians, teachers and citizens gather for four days in September every year. In 2019, the Swedish conference in collaboration with Göteborg Book Fair has announced Media and Information Literacy as one of three main themes. Parts of the UNESCO MIL Feature Conference will be held in close conjunction with the fair.
