The elections took place during the Annual Council Meeting, in Strasbourg, France on 30 May 2018.

According to the EBLIDA Constitution (Chapter 3, Article 29), the members of the Executive Committee shall be elected by the Council for a period of three years, serving a maximum of two terms.
