The conference was organised by EBLIDA and NAPLE with the support of the Library of the Finnish Parliament, Helsinki City Libraries, the Finnish Library Association and the Ministry of Education.
The EBLIDA-NAPLE annual event combines the annual meetings of EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library Information and Documentation Associations) and NAPLE (National Authorities on Public Libraries in Europe) with a joint conference.
